Pour a quart of pink rv antifreeze into the basket. Next remove the washer drain hose from the drain opening. One way to winterize your washing machine is to drain the machine of all water. Finally unplug your washing machine and power it down completely leaving it that way for the entirety of the season.

Once you re ready to use your washing machine again after using this winterizing method run water through the hoses to rid them of antifreeze. Unplug your washing machine. Shut off both water spigots. If yours has the button catcher or lint filter on the bottom right or left of the front place a thirsty towel down in front of it and unscrew the filter.

Set the unit for a spin only cycle and let the cycle run for 1 minute before powering off the unit. Before moving the washer plug the unit back in and add 1 gallon of non toxic recreational vehicle rv antifreeze to the empty wash drum and close the door. Turn off water supply faucets. If the washer is stored in an area where freezing can occur or moved into freezing temperatures follow these winterizing instructions to prevent damage to your washer.

Turn the timer knob to fill and select warm wash warm rinse. Start by turning off the water supply faucets. This will run the water out of the inlet valve. Then disconnect the hoses from the water supply and allow the water in the hoses to drain out.
