Give dents the cold shoulder by placing a large ice cube or multiple cubes if you re dealing with larger indentations directly into the carpet divot.
Then wait until it melts and the dent should be gone.
Use as many ice cubes as you need to fill the dent completely.
Let the ice melt for at least a few hours.

First take an ice cube and place it over the spot.
The more water the fibers absorb the fuller and more swollen they ll become and this will reduce the indentation.
